All of our bags are made from waterproof denier for the interior and back panel. The front is artisan waxed canvas. The nature of these materials will naturally repel water and most messes, but if you get your bag dirty, you will want to spot clean it as best you can with a dam cloth rather than tossing it in the washing machine. If you have questions about bag care, feel free to reach out!
Just what I was looking for, quality materials and construction!
I would only like to point out that the buckle has a couple sharp points that can dig into the collarbone if the bag is worn buckle-over-shoulder. This may just be the length of that strap portion on my body, combined with a bony collarbone, but I double looped that part of the strap and filed down the points which has helped.

I love my new bag! It's exactly what I was looking for (believe it or not, I was specifically looking for waxed canvas) and it's very high quality. The small size is perfect for me—it easily holds my wallet, phone and keys, and it fits great. Highly recommend!
